PDW Architects, one of Indonesia’s leading architectural firms, partnered with Pristinz to address heat challenges in their own headquarters. With glass façades playing a prominent role in the building’s design, the internal spaces faced excessive solar exposure, particularly in meeting rooms and studio areas. To respond, we installed our most transparent Sunshield Film 80 to maintain daylight access while improving thermal performance.
After experiencing solar heat problem, the company decided to use double-layered window film to reduce the heat.
While it drastically reduce the heat, as the test result show, it made the indoor very dark due to lack of visible light transmitted from outside.
