The ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE) is an intergovernmental organization that guides regional cooperation on energy policy, sustainability, and innovation across the 10 ASEAN member states. Their initiatives support member countries in achieving secure, affordable, and sustainable energy for the region.
About the Organizers: ACE, JAIF, and UNIDO
JAIF (Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund) is a funding collaboration by the Government of Japan and ASEAN, created to deepen regional integration, promote sustainability, and support inclusive innovation.
UNIDO, the United Nations agency for industrial development, works to promote inclusive and sustainable industrial growth worldwide. Through innovation programs like Sparks Ignite, they support climate-tech ventures that accelerate the transition to low-carbon economies.
This year’s ASEAN Sparks Ignite program brought together outstanding startups from across the region that are tackling the energy transition—from decarbonization to energy resilience and innovation. To be chosen as one of the Top 10 startups is a tremendous honor—and we’re thrilled to represent Indonesia on this regional stage.
World-Class Mentorship
One of the highlights of the program was the opportunity to be mentored by some of the most respected leaders in the climate-tech and venture ecosystem. We’d like to express our gratitude to the mentors and judges who shared their wisdom and support, especially :
Mariko Asmara – Founder & CEO, ANGO Ventures
Mariko is one of Southeast Asia’s most respected angel investors and startup mentors. With 30 years of experience and over 500 companies in her global network, she brings a rare combination of strategic sharpness and heart-centered leadership. Through her firm ANGO Ventures, she supports ventures that align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals—especially in health, education, food tech, and women’s empowerment. Her passion lies in investing in founders who are solving real problems with compassion and bold thinking.
Gerald Foo – Venture Builder & Climate-Tech Advisor
With two decades of experience in energy and corporate innovation across Asia, Gerald Foo has played a key role in helping startups scale impact-driven climate technologies. Formerly a corporate executive, Gerald now works at the intersection of business and sustainability—guiding early-stage ventures to find product-market fit, optimize their business models, and scale what matters. His insights have helped dozens of startups unlock growth, lower emissions, and bring viable green tech to Southeast Asia.
A Catalyst for Growth
Represented by our Managing Director, Tania Callista, Pristinz joined this program alongside promising startups from Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and beyond. This accelerator experience not only gave us access to regional networks and expert mentorship—it also sharpened our strategy and deepened our commitment to building a net-zero world, one building at a time.
“As a woman leader in the energy sector, I’ve often wrestled with questions of direction, identity, and how to scale without losing soul. Mariko Asmara’s thoughtful reflections on leadership helped me reconnect with the “who and why” behind the “what,” while Gerald Foo gave sharp insight into scaling and encouragement for Pristinz’s potential.”

We’re excited to continue this journey and grateful to the ASEAN Centre for Energy, UNIDO, Innovation Factory, and BLOCK71 for creating a solution that empowers real climate impact.
More than just an award, this recognition fuels our purpose : to build cooler, smarter, and more sustainable cities across Southeast Asia.
